Hervé 'Ghetto Bass'

Originally said to drop February 2nd, Hervé's new album 'Ghetto Bass' will hit stores February 16th, 2009. The album features remixes, original tracks under The Count & Sinden, as well as Hervé's other alter egos of Action Man, Young Lovers, Dead Soul Brothers and Voodoo Chilli.

Get Down

So Herve has been killing it lately, but you already know that. He dropped his new album 'Ghetto Bass' on Feb. 2 but I haven't heard the whole thing yet. However, the album kicks off nicely with a fidget BOMB from Jack Beats. The UK is really putting out some great stuff right now, keep it up guys.

And the HITS keep rolling....

This past week has been HUGE for the electro house scene, really kicking things off for the first time in 2009. Herve blessed us with some great releases, but Felguk blew everything out of proportion today with this release. Güèšš Whå† is their new original mix with a completely different sound, like nothing we've ever heard from them before. The bassline goes all over the place, rarely repeating the same sound twice. It's wobbly, it's wavy, it's everything I look for in an amazing electro house track. Truly incredible, I am beyond blown away by this release.

New Crookers!? SUNDAY LOVE

The Crookers are back with their new release "What Up Y'all" and I have to give them props because, they kept their original crookers sound that everyone appears to love, but switched up the melody and song format to bring something fresh to the table. Hopefully they will really step up soon and come out with some fresh bangers, because as of lately, there hasn't been any face-melting, dancefloor bombing Fidget tracks coming out. With the exception of Calvertron, Heavyfeet, Jackbeats, and Kelevra (whom I'm still iffy about), the fidget game has been somewhat quite. Personally, I can't wait for Herve to start releasing some more fire...

Featured Artist: Brew Ramson

As I was searching todays electro house releases, one track strongly stood out. The first time I heard it I had to double check I wasn't mistaking it for a new Spencer & Hill remix. No joke. I had never heard of the artist before so I looked him up and he's KILLING it in Austria. Watch out for Brew Ramson in 2009, he should be on everybody's radar.

Cochella 2009 Line-up Announced

The Coachella Valley Music Festival announced its line-up for 2009 today, and I am disappointed. Coachella used to have dance music headliners like Tiesto and Daft Punk in previous years, but the festival has taken a different approach lately. When I'm at Coachella, I'm in the Sahara tent 95% of the time, but even that seems to be sabotaged this year. The only day that looks mildly entertaining is Saturday, with the help of MSTRKRFT, Crookers, and the Bloody Beetroots. So will I be going to Coachella this year? I don't know the answer yet, but I can tell you now I will be making most of my preparations for Ultra.

Does anyone agree with me?
